* How to target the correct media outlets to reach your audience
* Knowing hourly deadlines for local and national radio stations, newspapers and television
* Who to talk to in a newsroom and when is best time to contact them
* Issuing diary notices
* Organise photographs
* Pitch your story to appropriate media – digital news outlets, newspapers, radio and television
* Organising an event, news conference, product launch
At the end of this two day course you will be confident in writing and issuing news releases, images to the meedia, communicating with journalists, picture desks and news editors.
